Description of Alexandria at the Swedish National Heritage’s “Autumn Meeting” 2015 10, 11, 12 November, Sweden, Stockholm/Solna

The theme for the Autumn Meeting is “The Struggle for Cultural Heritage”. On this final day of the conference, the theme will once more address issues relating to cultural heritage, identity and nationalism.

Perspectives from around the world:

How do we deal with those parts of urban buildings that are destroyed or disregarded? In this first seminar on buildings, examples are given of perspectives from two different cities; Amsterdam in Europe and Alexandria in North Africa.
